Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Navy Vice Adm. Robert M. Gaucher for reappointment to the grade of vice admiral, with assignment as submarine direct reporting portfolio manager, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Gaucher is currently serving as commander, Naval Submarine Forces/Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet/Commander, Allied Submarine Command, Norfolk, Virginia.

Navy Vice Adm. Jeffrey T. Jablon, for reappointment to the grade of vice admiral, with assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Jablon is currently serving as deputy chief of Naval Operations for Installations and Logistics, N4, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Navy Rear Adm. Douglas C. Verissimo, for appointment to the grade of vice admiral, with assignment as commander, Naval Air Forces/Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, California. Verissimo most recently served as commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Norfolk, Virginia. 
 
Navy Rear Adm. Darin K. Via for appointment to the grade of vice admiral, with assignment as director for Defense Health Agency, Falls Church, Virginia. Via is currently serving as surgeon general of the Navy, N093/Chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Falls Church, Virginia.

Navy Capt. Milton W. Troy III for appointment to the grade of rear admiral (lower half). Troy is currently serving as director, Fleet Supply and Ordnance, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia.
