Pentagon Press Secretary John Ullyot provided the following readout: 

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth spoke with the Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Saoud Al Thani, to discuss U.S. operations to eliminate the Houthi threat to American commerce and restore American freedom of navigation. The Secretary acknowledged Qatar's strong partnership in addressing shared security challenges across the region, including in Syria and the Red Sea.
