View Online IMMEDIATE RELEASE DTRA Hosts Telephonic Press Briefing on Iran Nuclear Facilities Bombing July 10, 2025 Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) officials will hold a telephonic on-background panel discussion on the recent Iran precision target events that took place on June 20. The discussion will be on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. EDT and will last approximately 30 minutes. The two officials will discuss the Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), a precision-guided, air-delivered bunker-buster bomb fielded in 2002-2024 by the U.S. Air Force. DTRA personnel spearheaded the development and provided significant input to the project.
