General Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced today that the President has made the following nomination:

Army Lt. Gen. Christopher C. LaNeve for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as senior military assistant to the Secretary of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. LaNeve currently serves as commanding general, Eighth Army/chief of staff, Combined Forces Command, Republic of Korea.
