General Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Army Lt. Gen. Curtis A. Buzzard for reappointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as commander, Security Assistance Group-Ukraine; and commander, NATO Security Assistance, and Training for Ukraine, Operation Atlantic Resolve, Germany.  Buzzard is currently serving as commander, Security Assistance Group-Ukraine, Operation Atlantic Resolve, Germany.
