General Officer Announcement
July 12, 2024

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Army Lt. Gen. Ronald P. Clark for appointment to the grade of general, with assignment as commanding general, U.S. Army Pacific, Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Clark is currently serving as the senior military assistant to the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.
