View Online IMMEDIATE RELEASE Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks Travels to U.S. Central Command Headquarters June 24, 2024 Attributable to Pentagon Spokesman Eric Pahon: Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks will visit U.S. Central Command headquarters on MacDill Air Force Base on Tuesday, June 25. While there, the Deputy Secretary will meet with USCENTCOM Commander U.S. Army General Michael Kurilla and senior staff to discuss the implementation of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and receive briefs on USCENTCOM's innovations efforts and threat assessments, among other topics. The Deputy Secretary will return to Washington, D.C. later that same day.
